E-mail

Integration with the help of formatted e-mails makes it possible to exchange data between systems located in fully closed contour lines.

How does it work?

  • The format of incoming and outgoing emails for each system is determined
  • In OTRS, an incoming mail handler/evaluator is configured
  • In OTRS, an event notification module is configured — triggers for sending and text notifications
  • Each system records the number and status of a ticket from an external system

SOAP REST API

The embedded capability of SOAP XML, REST JSON / XML API in OTRS allows you to use OTRS for both the requesting and receiving sides.

The system implements ready-made methods for working with tickets, knowledge base articles, configuration items

  • OTRS open database structure allows to integrate external reporting systems easily
  • Your customers or users can be stored in any application — ERP, CRM, HR
